I'm Ron - a 46-year-old from The Netherlands, born and raised. For over a decade I've been running my own IT consultancy, Kelendria, but the project I'm most invested in these days is a deeply personal one.

In June 2025, routine bloodwork came back with some sobering numbers - a HOMA-index of 1.9 (bordering on insulin resistance), homocysteine at 34.1 μmol/L, and more red flags than I was comfortable ignoring. Instead of looking the other way, I took it as a wake-up call and dove headfirst into the world of biohacking. I completely overhauled my diet, started tracking biomarkers obsessively, and immersed myself in longevity science. When I tested again roughly a year later, the improvements were striking - across the board.

While the HOMA-index dropped dramatically to 0.4, I'm not out of the woods yet. Recovery is still very much in progress. But the trajectory is encouraging, and the process has become a genuine passion. I'm rebuilding this site to document the journey - what I'm learning, what's working, and where the data is taking me. Profile picture update incoming too - my hair regrowth experiment deserves a fresh photo. Stay tuned.

My average DunedinPace across my only two measurements so far: 0.81 (Jan 2026) to 0.68 (May 2026), averaging at 0.745 - meaning I'm aging at roughly 75% the rate of a typical person my age.
